Can Raisin Bread

7 soup cans

Pour 2 1/4 cups boiling water (I use part orange juice) over 2 cups raisins. Let stand until cool.

2 cups white sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 cups flour

Mix together.
Add raisin mixture last.
Fill greased cans about 2/3 full.
Bake 300° about one hour or until tops are dark brown.
